Not my Fav
In comparison to the standard CVG leggings: these are an inch or so higher in the rise, which I like a lot for my body shape. However these are not nearly as compression as the original style of leggings, which for me means that they keep rolling down. I did get some compliments from the hubby on the design.
Customer service
Didn't like style of this pair. Didn't know there were different styles. (Traditional) style is what I like. *style-- *****customer service for exchange for Traditional style pair
Leggings
Didn't fit right & exchange for "traditional" style--fantastic customer service
Not for people with thick calves.
Super cute. In love with the fabric and lack of the front seam, but they slip down my hips while also being too tight on my calves, so I can't size differently either direction. I would've preferred getting these in full-length, but they only had capris in stock and I wanted to try a patterned, versatile style. My full-length traditional style CVG leggings in the same size fit fine on my calves, so it could be the added compression due to the seam. I do NOT recommend these capris for people with thick calves, but wouldn't shy away from trying them in full-length, but not sure if they'd need to be sized down as I haven't tried that in full-length yet. Note/Solution: I have a bit of an hourglass figure with thick thighs/calves (it's a blessing and a curse), so I run into legging slippage a lot trying to size to fit my other features. I'm going to cut a small hole in the waistband and add a drawstring, and put a small vertical cut thru the seam around the calves to give a little extra space. Not a horrible loss, but I will likely avoid buying anymore capri cut versions from CVG and stick to full-length. Pros: - Love the pattern! The pictures don't do it justice. The metallic shiny parts got a lot of shimmer and color to them. Just gorgeous. - Love that the versatile cut doesn't have a center front seam. (No camel toe) - Deep, wide pockets... on BOTH sides! <3 Cons: - Too loose on my waist/hips, so they keep slipping down, but WAY too tight on my calves. I currently wear a size 14, so I got a large. I can't size down for my waist/hips cause of the calf issue. Neutral: - I got a traditional pair of leggings and a versatile pair to try out because I wasn't sure about the front seam. The versatile style also does not have stitching at the top of the waistband like the traditional style. I think I prefer the stitching, but I'm not 100% sure. Time will tell.
