This program is made up of daily challenges to help prepare you for the Murph workout.Β

HELPFUL INFORMATION
1. We can modify this workout to any ability level!! ANY ABILITY LEVEL.Β Modifications can include changes such as shortening the run distances to 400 meters, doing ring rows instead of pull ups, doing the push-ups on a box, and more.Β Our coaches will release workouts for all ability levels.
2. We will repeat this workout every year so you can track your progress and badassery.Β

3. You can partition your reps.Β That means instead of doing 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups and 300 air squats in a row, we can split them up to something like 20 Rounds of: 5 pull-ups, 10 push-ups, 15 air squats broken up.Β Same amount of reps, just spread out.Β Our coaches will help you with this.
I don't have a pull-up, push-up, and can't run that far. Can I do this challenge?
Absolutely! All of our challenges will help you train to get your first pull-up/push-up and be better at running.
We also have 4 different versions of this workout so you can choose the version that best matches your ability level!
I don't have a ton of time for daily challenges, how long will these take?
All of the challenges are designed to be completed within a 10-30 minute time frame!
I don't have access to a gym or any equipment, can I still participate in the challenge without it?
No worries there! The challenges are designed to be bodyweight only or low equipment. You can also post in our CVG Nation App and tag the coaches if you need a specific modification!

WHY WE DO MURPH
Michael Patrick "Murph" Murphy (7 May 1976 β 28 June 2005) was a United States Navy SEAL officer who was awarded the U.S. military's highest decoration, the Medal of Honor, for his actions during the War in Afghanistan.
He was the first member of the U.S. Navy to receive the award since the Vietnam War.
His other posthumous awards include the Silver Star Medal (which was later upgraded to the Medal of Honor) and the Purple Heart.
This workout was originally named "Body Armor" and written by Lt. Murphy himself. It was only named "Murph" after he made the ultimate sacrifice. Every year we do this challenging workout Memorial Day weekend in honor of Murph and those we have lost. This workout is known as a Hero Workout.
