Here's some additional tips to improve your double unders...

  • Make sure your rope is the proper length.
  • Focus on moving your wrists, not your arms.
  • Perform a proper hollow position during your jump.
  • Keep your head and chest up while jumping.

*NOTE* Double unders are a highly skilled movement that will take time to master. Single unders are a highly effective substitute for athletes who are unable to perform sustained double unders.

Looking for some practice for your double unders? Try Crossfit's 18.3 workout.

Featured in the 2018 Crossfit Open, 18.3 is:

2 rounds for time of:
100 double-unders
20 overhead squats
100 double-unders
12 ring muscle-ups
100 double-unders
20 dumbbell snatches
100 double-unders
12 bar muscle-ups
